This dataset consists of shear modulus data of glycerol and glycerol-water mixtures as presented in: M. H. Jensen, C. Gainaru, C. Alba-Simionesco, T. Hecksher and K. Niss "Slow rheological mode in glycerol and glycerol–water mixtures" Phys. Chem. Chem. Phys., 20, 1716 (2018). also available as arXiv:1709.08695 [cond-mat.soft] (https://arxiv.org/abs/1709.08695) This electronic version of the data was published on the "Glass and time - Data repository" found at http://glass.ruc.dk/data The authors have copyright to these data. The authors have given permission to "Glass and Time" to publish the data on the "Glass and time - Data repository" web site. You are very welcome to use the data for further analysis, but are requested to cite the original publication whenever use is made of the data in publications, presentations, etc. Any questions regarding the data can be addressed to tihe@ruc.dk or kniss@ruc.dk who would also appreciate a mail if you find the data useful. ____________________________________________________________________ The downloaded file contains 55 txt-files (data files). The details are as follows: File names are structured as follows: [abbreviation]_[temperature].txt where abbreviation is GlyNeat for neat glycerol or GlyWat0x for glycerol-water mixtures with 0.x glycerol molar concentration. Each file contains three columns: First column is frequency in Hertz, second and third column are the real and imaginary part of the (shear or bulk) modulus in GPa. The file also contains 6 png-files with the data plotted as well as a GNUplot script ('makePlots') that will generate these figures. ____________________________________________________________________ Last edited February 2018, Tina Hecksher
